Enclosed gearboxes, open gears and centralized greasing systems have different lubrication requirements. Check viscosity, base oil, gear materials, load and equipment specifications. For grease, also check consistency, thickener and delivery method. Neither a heavy-duty label nor an identical ISO VG grade establishes interchangeability.
